  • Bookkeeping is the process of recording and organizing your business's financial transactions. If you're running a business, yes, you need it. Staying on top of your books means you always know where your money is going, you're prepared for tax time, and you can make informed decisions about your business.

  • A bookkeeper handles the day-to-day recording and organizing of your financial transactions. An accountant typically takes that information and uses it for tax preparation, financial planning, and higher-level advisory work. A good bookkeeper makes your accountant's job easier and often less expensive.

  • It mostly comes down to your monthly transaction volume. If you're unsure, book a free consultation, and we'll figure it out together.

  • Not much. Access to your bank and credit card statements, a willingness to get your finances organized, and a QuickBooks Online subscription (or I can help you get set up with one at a discounted rate).

  • No. If you're not already using QuickBooks Online, I can help you get set up. As a Certified ProAdvisor, I can also pass along a subscription discount.
